This comes from Gunner’s Military Humor, USAFNS:
The teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment: Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it.
The next day the kids came back and one by one began to tell their stories.
“Tony, do you have a story to share?”
“Yes ma’am. My daddy told a story about my Aunt Karen. She was a pilot in Desert Storm and her plane got hit. She had to bail out over enemy territory and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol and a survival knife. She drank the whiskey on the way down so it wouldn’t break and then her parachute landed right in the middle of twenty enemy troops. She shot fifteen of them with the gun until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last enemy with her bare hands.”
“Good Heaven’s” said the horrified teacher. “What kind of moral did your daddy tell you from this horrible story?”
“Stay the heck away from Aunt Karen when she’s drinking”.

NSFW – unless your office is a whole lot like mine.

The (p)Resident is correct in one thing – racism in America is alive and well, and advancing at an exponential rate since Nov. 4, 2008. And by making such a monumental Biden-like gaffe as to announce to the world that “the police acted stupidly,” is reckless and dangerous. Looking at the facts…
1. Police responded to a burglary call – two black men wearing backpacks were reportedly breaking into a residence.
2. Police arrived on the scene and entered what they understood to be a potential crime scene – finding two black men. When asked to identify themselves, Gates refused. Instead, he immediately pulled the racism card, shouting “THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO BLACK MEN INAMERICA!”
3. Gates continues to raise a ruckus and refuses to listen to why police are there.
4. Gates follows the police outside, where he finds an audience. There, he continues his tantrum in the face of the police, likely emboldened by the public attention. Still refusing to listen to police, he continues to direct his tirade at them, in their faces.
5. No matter what color you are, setting off on a police officer – especially in public – usually brings bad results:
I predict this incident – especially in light of Teh One’s endorsement of Chocolate Rage™ – will touch off a wave of emboldened criminal behavior, and more racially charged accusations directed at police.
Just you wait and see…
Our office water-cooler discussion today prompted some reminiscing of 80′s music and movies, and I recalled this gem – it’s one of my all-time favorite commercials. The true beauty was in its subtlety – the television ad never mentioned the name of the song, nor did it even make it to the lyrics, but for anyone who liked or was at least familiar with the music of Queen, the “punchline” is priceless:
The concern seems genuine.
That scares me. Because, of course, that would be a tragedy. NOT.
Oops, was that last part out loud?
It means everything to a successful business. Take for instance the example I’m about to present.
For the better part of two years, I’ve been traveling to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to work on-site at one of my company’s facilities. Every time, I pass this exit on the way to and from my hotel:

Highway 69 South to Moundville
Being a guy, whom like most guys, harbors an inner 13-year-old, I can’t help but snicker to myself at the implications. But this makes it even better:

Look past the bush...
Can you see it? It’s there, you just have to look past the bush. [more juvenile snickering]:

Best Location for a Hooters - EVER!
And there it is: Pure. Fucking. GENIUS.
