Uh, what did you really expect, Mister Obama? After appearing on Al Jihad TV to tell our enemies that when it comes to Middle East matters, “all too often the United States starts by dictating,” are you surprised that the Iranian response would be any less than this?

Obamasshole.  You’re turning our country tits-up to our enemies.  What exactly do you and your liberal fuckknobs expect?  That maybe if we just wet our pants and cry a little, the bad people will leave us alone?

This is going to get very, very bad.  So in case I don’t have a chance to personally say so later (like after I’m bombed, irradiated, infected or poisoned)…  Thanks.

Fuckwit.

Wow, can you believe it?  The Pocket Obama.’

Nothing at all like the Pocket Fisherman® (with an apologetic nod to Ron Popeil) – ’cause this jerk doesn’t want people fishing for themselves.  But you’re welcome to get in line…  Loaves and fishes are to be sourced exclusively from Teh One.

From Amazon.com:

Product Description
Printed in a size that easily fits into pocket or purse, this book is an anthology of quotations borrowed from Barack Obama’s speeches and writings. POCKET OBAMA serves as a reminder of the amazing power of oratory and the remarkable ability of this man to move people with his words. His superb and captivating oratory style has earned comparisons to John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, and this collection presents words that catapulted his remarkable rise to the American Presidency. Includes themes of democracy, politics, war, terrorism, race, community, jurisprudence, faith, personal responsibility, national identity, and above all, his hoped-for vision of a new America. This book is truly a primer for readers who want to examine the substance of his thought and reflect on the next great chapter in the American story. It is an unofficial requirement for every citizen to own, to read, and to carry this book at all times.

Really?  An “unofficial requirement…to carry at all times”?

Blow me.   There is only one ‘personal item’ I make a point to carry at all times…

Welcome to Pelogenics®.  Or maybe Pelogenomics®.

Pelogenics®

Nancy Pelosi, mother of five, believes that using bailout funds to provide “Family Planning Services” (read: ABORTION ON DEMAND) will help the economy thrive.  By killing off the children of the least prosperous, the most ineffective, the most vulnerable members of our society, we’ll become a stronger nation.

Sound familiar?

The “interventions” advocated and practised by eugenicists involved prominently the identification and classification of individuals and their families (including the poor, mentally ill, blind, ‘promiscuous women’, homosexuals) and entire “racial” groups (such as the Roma and Jews) as “degenerate” or “unfit”, the segregation or institutionalisation of such individuals and groups, their sterilization, their “euthanasia”, and in the worst case of Nazi Germany, their mass extermination.  The practices engaged in by eugenicists involving violations of privacy, attacks on reputation, violations of the right to life, to found a family, to discrimination are all today classified as violations of human rights.

My blood is running cold.  Our great nation is at peril, folks.  On what moral slippery slope are we going to venture next?

Mrs. Who and I have both been walking around the house with a creeping feeling of dread since Tuesday.  It’s kind of like…  Like hearing the snap of vinyl gloves from behind you, just before an exam kind of cold shiver.

Now I know why.

For the next four years, I am, by the simple, contemporary definition of being a middle-aged, middle-class, white American male…

A racist.

Regardless of what I say or do, I am and will remain American and white.  I should feel ashamed.  I should hang my head in despair.  I should cow to all non-whites and the French, for I am inferior in every way – a vile, despicable creature in their eyes, and in the great world-view of all humanity.

I am nothing…

So if I’m damned anyway, I may as well fucking enjoy myself! More »

Wow, history is getting fuzzy already.

From Whitehouse.gov:

Katrina

President Obama will keep the broken promises made by President Bush to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. He and Vice President Biden will take steps to ensure that the federal government will never again allow such catastrophic failures in emergency planning and response to occur.

President Obama swiftly responded to Hurricane Katrina. Citing the Bush Administration’s “unconscionable ineptitude” in responding to Hurricane Katrina, then-Senator Obama introduced legislation requiring disaster planners to take into account the specific needs of low-income hurricane victims. Obama visited thousands of Hurricane survivors in the Houston Convention Center and later took three more trips to the region. He worked with members of the Congressional Black Caucus to introduce legislation to address the immediate income, employment, business, and housing needs of Gulf Coast communities.

President Barack Obama will partner with the people of the Gulf Coast to rebuild now, stronger than ever.

Funny.  I live six miles from the Gulf of Mexico.  The eye of Hurricane Ivan went right over my friggin’ house in 2004.  We were the first to kick off the 2005 Hurricane season early with TS Arlene.  Then Cindy stopped by for a brief visit.  Then Dennis.  Then Katrina devastated the whole region.  Rita did her best to scare us, but thankfully, she slid further to the west and frankly, by then we failed to give a fuck.

I distinctly remember President Bush making several trips to our area during these hurricane seasons.  Senator Trent Lott lost his home – damn near spittin’ distance, over the border in Mississippi.  Of course Alabama’s senators Sessions and Shelby were immediately on hand.

What I also remember, is that Ivan showed us how unprepared we were — collectively and individually — for a catastrophic storm.  What people don’t seem to realize is that, like the police in an emergency situation, our government can’t be there waiting with a safety net to scoop you up and protect you from harm.  Everyone has the individual responsibility to care for oneself and their immediate family for at least 72 hours until help can arrive.  Government can not magically blink-away downed power lines and impassable road debris to deliver a hot meal before your tummy starts to growl.

But Katrina demonstrated just how badly an inept local government can fuck things up.  More harm was done by the lack of action by Mayor Nagin and Governor Blanco before Hurricane Katrina made landfall, than could possibly have been made up for by FEMA’s already taxed response after the fact.  The failure to deliver a local executive order to evacuate a below-sea-level city until it was already flooding was (IMHO) criminally negligent.  As evacuation became a priority, Nagin failed to utilize mass-transit vehicles that were standing at the ready, only to leave them to be flooded and useless.

And somehow, all this AND the plight of the people that local authorities failed to get out of harm’s way became President Bush’s fault.  Instead, wild conspiracy theories were spun…  Black-ops helicopters bombing levies to deliberately drown poor black inhabitants of New Orleans.  Then Nagin called for a Chocolate City® to be rebuilt.   (Wait a minute, is this the “plan to rebuild” Obama is promising?)

Obama’s page, and most critics of the handling of FEMA’s response to Katrina fail to account for the effects of Ivan, and the thousands upon thousands of affected and displaced families and BILLION$ in damaged infrastructure that it produced.  It rewrites history to the exclusion of action of anyone but the Obamessiah.

But wait a minute…  I don’t recall.  Yes, I’m pretty sure…

AT NO TIME DID I SEE OR HEAR OF SENATOR OBAMA VISITING OUR AREA!

Not that I would have given a rat’s ass at the time if he had.  But to say or even imply that he did more than President Bush?

Fucking.  Pisses. Me.  RIGHToff!

I’m sorry, mister Obama.  For about nine hours, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and call you my President, out of respect for my country and the office of POTUS.  But I’ve told my kids, and I’ll tell you here and now: I hate, hate, HATE being lied to.  And I just caught you in a fucking whopper.

And if you did do so much work as you claim on behalf of hurricane victims, why were you so selective in deciding which victims should receive help?  I’m pretty sure the Congressional Black Caucus – by definition – wouldn’t be interested in addressing the losses suffered by us white folk.  You see, Hurricanes are color blind, though one wouldn’t know it from your response.  (I and my family, on the other hand, worked with and donated to Catholic Charities — a color blind charitable organization — in the wake of the hurricanes.)  It would seem, therefore, that your heart’s just not that into being my president.

Welcome to Obama’s new Chocolate America®.

…will evidently be the completion of a network file transfer via Windows Vista:

Vista network file copy

That’s approximately 134.47 years (and eight hours!) until my machine should be free, so I’m going for a cup of coffee.  Want me to get you anything while I’m gone?

Good News:  Microsoft has released Windows 7 Beta for public perusal.

Bad News:  It’s still a Microsoft product.

Will it rescue all of us whom have been afflicted with Vista?  I’m not holding my breath.

XKCD sums up my feelings on the Win7 Beta release here:

Windows 7 vs. Vista
